question for college students?
well im going back next year im 19 what i wanna know is that i never took carpentry in high school but i wanna get into it will they accept me if ive never taken it in high school?

- I don't see why not. It's just hard to say for sure because some schools have requirements for you to be in certain classes, but not very often. Once you've been admitted to the college, you should be able to take most classes that you want to. Try calling their admissions office to find out for sure.
- You can do whatever you want. You just might not have the jump start you would of had if you took those types of courses in high school.
- agreed. definitely check with admissions but most colleges have introduction level classes that are required for you to take whether you have experience in that subject matter or not. So I do not think you would need to have taken classes in high school for carpentry to take the classes in college.
- yes, well, only if it doesn't have a prerequisite. check it out. school is to learn. they cant keep you from that:)
- Find a college that has carpentry, that you are interested in. Then call admissions and ask what is needed for acceptance into that degree. Most colleges require a background in basic knowledge and then focus on a degree. GOOD LUCK!
