Learning Carpentry

What do you think is a good course for me to take in College?

i struggle to almost every course!! Academic Math- good grades but i ask hundreds of questions and in College i cant be like that.. (Math is hard for me) Science - Its so boring for me.. im a dreamer and when i try to read i get soo bored.. (science aint my thing). English - I need help in Essays.. My teacher says i cant take Academic since my english is not really proper.. Business - is kinda hard and i dont want to take that since Business will be tough in the future.. hands on - my parents dont want me take like carpentry since it has a low salary... (i want a job with good salary) I want to take nursing but i think i will need science (Science is boring).. and imma dreamer when ever i get bored i will start to day dream (How weird am i)... Is there a course i can take in College that does not deal with these courses??

  1. Do you like Art? If you take some art courses you might be able to major in Architecture, which usually can land you a 6 figure salary.
  2. In the US- No matter what your major is, you are going to have to take general education courses. Which will include the basics, math, english, social studies and science. My son is a history major and is taking an acting and biology class to fill full requirements for gen ed. You are going to have to grow up. The "I'm bored" isn't going to fly in college. You are going to have to take classes you don't like and do well in them. You may find a teacher or class that does point you in an area you will want to study. Many students decide their major once they are in college for a couple of semesters first.
  3. You are going to have to take the university/general education requirements in order to graduate, which most likely include science, math, english, etc. Those are inevitable. However, whatever you choose to major in will determine what the rest of the courses you take will be. Also, I would try to base your degree off of your interests instead of potential salary. You have to be happy with your degree/career.
