Learning Carpentry

How can I learn how to be a carpenter in metro Atlanta?

I am very interested in learning carpentry as a trade, I just do not know how/ where to get started. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

1. You can go to school for it. You might want to start working as a carpenter's helper too. Good Luck!
2. Check out some of the local tech schools and see what they have to offer. The idea of getting on with an established carpenter as an assistant is a very good idea.
