Can you let me know the things i need to look for like the type of wood,finish etc,also carpenters nos?

I would like to do woodwork for my kitchen and bedroom.Can you let me know the things i need to look for like the type of wood,finish etc.Also send me the details of any good firm/carpenters... Im based out of bangalore

1. Well, I work at Graber Cabinets. It's a custom made cabinet shop. In Grabill, Indiana, USA. We have a website. And my boss does travel out of the states. As for the type of wood, it depends on how stong of a wood you want. Some are very strong, others are not. You also look at the type of grains the different woods have. I absolutely LOVE the look of knotty pine. It is so pretty to me. But, it is not a very strong wood so I personally would never have anything made out of it. As for the color and finish, that's personal too. There are so many colors to choose from, it just all depends on what you like. Contact me if you'd like more information.
