How much do carpenters get paid?

I live in B.C., Canada. I think I want to be a carpenter when I'm older. How much do carpenters get paid? What training do I need?

1. Carpenters in your providence make between 14-30 per hour, the average being about 20.
2. some carpenters get paid way too much others don't get paid enough yes, you ought to apprentice with a union or work with a carpenter for a few years to learn...it is way more than just being able to read a tape measure and cut a straight line. (sadly many people cannot even grasp that much)
