any good websites to learn basic carpentry and use of tools?
I just got admission in the Uni in the carpentry course and its been a week but still can't get how to use the tools and learn basics of carpentry. Like where to start with? I got all the basic tools needed. You know, I would like to know some good websites that start from the basics and then go deeper into the understanding of Carpentry, building and construction. Appreciate any help. Cheers.

- Occupational Outlook Handbook, 2006-07 Edition U.S. Department of Labor | Bureau of Labor Statistics | Bulletin 2600 Carpenters http://www.bls.gov/oco/print/ocos202.htm Read the above link for informational guides. .............Personal Note............................ Most carpenters already have a basic knowledge of how to use the tools. Clearly you need some practice. You will also need to be good in math. If you can't read a ruler or a tapemeasure you are in deep do. You'll need to know how to figure fractions. Your first skills should be in math/algebra/geometry/calculus. Get some experience cutting and measuring lengths of wood and above all learn to cut Crown Molding especially if you plan to become a Master Carpenter. Watch all of the "How to" shows...To see how those tools are used. Remember the little Engine that could? . Open the link, read and base your learning skills on this. http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/the-little-engine-that-could-a-christmas-poem/ I..think..I..can..I..think..I..can I'm.. going.. to.. make.. it.. yes.. I.. am I think I can, I think I can the engine a bit faster ran .....Personal Note............. PLAN YOUR WORK AND WORK YOUR PLAN
